Bourgogne Rouge

This wine is produced from a blend of many parcels located in the appellations of Gevrey-Chambertin and Fixin.

The vinification process takes up to 15 months, and the wine is aged in oak barrels.

The soils are clay-limestone with the presence of Bresse marl in depth.

Since 1993, Frédéric and Emmanuel Humbert, cousins of the Dugat family, have been successfully managing the Humbert Frères estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, continuing the family legacy into the fourth generation.

Pierre Yves Humbert has since taken over Frederic's role and now co-manages the winery with his uncle Emmanuel.

Their ownership spans across 7 hectares, situated in the villages of Gevrey-Chambertin and Fixin. 

Specializing in Pinot Noir, their esteemed collection includes Bourgogne Rouge Côte d’Or, Gevrey-Chambertin village, the premier crus of Poissenot and Estournelles Saint-Jacques, and the revered Charmes-Chambertin Grand cru.

Annually, they produce between 30,000 to 40,000 bottles.
